Up until a few weeks ago, Northeast Piedmont Chorale (Chorale) was preparing for its annual spring concerts. This year, our program, “Home is Where the Heart Is”, included songs that tell the story of our country. Unfortunately, in light of the everchanging information emerging about the coronavirus (Covid-19) and concern for the safety and well-being of our members and our audiences, the Chorale has decided to cancel all rehearsals and both of its spring 2020 concerts scheduled for performances on Saturday, May 16, 2020, at New Hope Baptist Church in Raleigh, and on Sunday, May 17, 2020, at McGregor Hall for the Performing Arts in Henderson. While we will not be able to sing about the story of our country this spring, we look forward to singing this beautiful program next spring.
