Do you love to sing as much as we do? We invite you to share your passion and talent with our community!

The Northeast Piedmont Chorale (NPC) is a vibrant, non-profit, non-sectarian, volunteer organization dedicated to performing fine choral music for the residents of the Northeast Piedmont area of North Carolina—always at no charge to our audiences.

Joining the NPC means becoming part of a welcoming, committed group of singers from Wake, Durham, Franklin, Vance, and surrounding counties. We perform two major concert series each season (Fall and Spring), often with a professional orchestra, tackling diverse and powerful works. From masterworks like John Rutter’s Gloria to inspiring contemporary compositions and beloved traditional favorites, our diverse repertoire offers something for every passionate singer.

 

What You Need to Know (Membership Details):

 

  • Commitment: NPC members are enthusiastic volunteers dedicated to musical excellence and regular attendance at rehearsals and concerts.

  • Rehearsals: We rehearse every Monday evening from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall at Wake Forest Baptist Church (107 E. South Avenue, Wake Forest, NC).

  • Voice Placement: While we welcome singers of all backgrounds, a brief voice placement session with our director helps ensure balanced sections and determine the best fit for your voice.

A Warm Welcome to Our Fall 2026 Singers!

The Northeast Piedmont Chorale (NPC) extends a warm, enthusiastic welcome to all our returning members and every new singer joining us for the Fall 2026 season!

We are excited to build on the momentum of our past performances under the continued leadership of our Musical Director, Bryant Moxley. With his inspiring direction and our shared passion for fine choral music, we are set for another outstanding season together.

Looking Ahead: Preparing for the Fall Concerts

While we are keeping the official title and poster for our upcoming Winter Concert Series under wraps just a little longer, our music committee has assembled a phenomenal repertoire! Singers can look forward to a rich, rewarding program featuring powerful classical works and festive holiday favorites that will showcase the full range of our ensemble. Stay tuned for the big reveal!

Rehearsal Details & Getting Started

Our rehearsals are where the magic happens. We prioritize a focused, supportive environment where we can collaborate, grow, and shape our sound as a community.

  • First Rehearsal: Monday, September 14, 2026

  • Schedule: Every Monday evening | 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
