Northeast Piedmont Chorale Welcomes Bryant Moxley as New Music Director
The Northeast Piedmont Chorale is absolutely thrilled to welcome Bryant Moxley as our new Music Director! We eagerly anticipate the fresh perspectives and artistic vision he will bring to our performances. With Bryant’s inspiring leadership and the dedication of our talented singers, we are preparing a season of truly memorable music. About Bryant:
Bryant Moxley joined the Northeast Piedmont Chorale in 2015 as a member of the baritone section. He is very excited to begin serving as director of the Chorale for the 2025 Fall season!
Bryant has served as Minister of Music and Worship at Wake Forest Baptist Church, Wake Forest, NC since 2014. The Music Ministry of Wake Forest Baptist Church includes six choirs, three ensembles and a thriving Musikgarten program. Previously he served as Assistant Professor of Music and Music Department Chair at Bluefield University, Bluefield, VA for 12 years and as Minister of Music at churches in Virginia, West Virginia, Kansas, Kentucky and Arkansas.
Under his direction, choirs from Bluefield University regularly toured throughout Virginia, the surrounding region and internationally in Austria, Italy and the Czech Republic. Additionally, his choirs have joined other choral singers for performances in Carnegie Hall and the Lincoln Center. Moxley debuted as conductor at Carnegie Hall in May of 2024. He led a 150 voice chorus which included members of the Northeast Piedmont Chorale.
Bryant Moxley is a summa cum laude graduate of Ouachita Baptist University and received his master’s degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Mr. Moxley is coordinator of the Segue Youth Choir Festival and Camp Director for the Music and Worship Arts Camp of Eagle Eyrie Baptist Conference Center. He is an active member of ACDA and the Virginia Baptist Male Chorale. Bryant is a licensed Musikgarten instructor and can be found most Thursday mornings on a classroom floor exploring music with a room full of toddlers and babies.
An avid runner, Moxley has survived several half marathons. He enjoys tennis, cooking, travel and spending time with his daughters, their husbands and their dogs as much as possible.
