A Message from Our Board — February/March 2021

It is hard to believe that a year has passed since we learned of Covid-19 — a full year since we have been able to sing together, and what a year it has been! One year ago, we learned that Covid-19 was a highly communicable and deadly virus, affecting people throughout the world. This tiny germ changed our lives in so many ways and taught us how much we depend on each other in difficult and uncertain times. To say that 2020 was a difficult year is an understatement. The good news, however, is that 2021 promises to be a much better year thanks to the Herculean efforts of scientists around the world. With vaccines becoming more and more available, the day when we can once again sing together is nearer and nearer. Until that time, our members will continue to meet via Zoom on the first Monday of every month to share news and celebrate events together. Our board will also continue meeting monthly to take care of Chorale business, prepare for a new singing season, and monitor reports from medical experts to learn when we will once again be able to sing together safely.

Keep checking here monthly for more information from our board.
